The CT manifestations and diagnostic value of primary retroperitoneal tumors(report of 40 cases)

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the CT manifestations and diagnostic value of retroperitoneal primary tumor. Meth-ods:To analysis retrospectively 40 cases of retroperitoneal tumors,all cases were confirmed by clinical and pathology,were per-formed CT scan and enhanced scan. Results:Forteen cases of neurogenic tumor;lip sarcoma 9 cases;leiomyosarcoma in 7 ca-ses;benign teratoma in 3 cases;outer malignant gastrointestinal tumor in 3 cases;pheochromocytoma in 2 cases;malignant fi-brous histiocytoma in 2 cases. Conclusion:The CT manifestations of primary retroperitoneal tumors have certain characteristics and careful analysis tumor size form part of the range of density and the relationship with the adjacent structure can make more accurate imaging diagnosis.
