Clinical observation on 30 cases of patient controlled intravenous analgesia to cancer pain

Abstract:Objective:To observe and evaluate the analgesic effect of patient controlled sufentanil and dezocine intrave-nous to cancer pain. Methods:Thirty patients with cancer pain were divided into two groups:sufentanil and tropisetron group (groupⅠ)and sufentanil and tropisetron plus dezocine group(groupⅡ). Two groups of patients were both received patient controlled intravenous analgesia treatment,to observe and record the analgesic effect in each time,the pressing times and cases of adverse reactions such as respiratory depression,nausea and vomiting occur. Results:The pressing times of two groups have no statistical significance. The incidence of nausea and vomiting was 71% in groupⅠ,and 4% in groupⅡ. There were no re-spiratory depressions between two groups. Conclusion:Sufentanil combined with dezocine for patient controlled intravenous an-algesia to cancer pain can gain satisfactory effection,and improve greatly the survival quality of patients with cancer pain.
