Study on regional differences in health behaviors of stroke patients and influencing factors

Abstract：Objective:Based on the COM-B model,the differences in health behaviors and influencing factors of stroke patients in Henan province and Inner Mongolia were analyzed to provide a basis for regional intervention.Methods:A cluster random sampling method was used to select 535 stroke patients in Henan and 530 stroke patients in Inner Mongolia from January to October 2024.The General Situation Questionnaire,Stroke Health Knowledge Questionnaire,Health Belief Scale,Health-Promoting Lifestyle Scale Ⅱ,Social Support Rating Scale,and Environmental Scale were used to investigate.One-way analysis of variance and linear regression were used for analysis.Results:There were differences in distribution of disease types,age,education level,marital status,living style,monthly income,TOAST and thrombolytic therapy between stroke patients in Henan province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region(P<0.05).The health behavior score of patients in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region[(145.53±38.68)]was higher than that in Henan province[(129.59±27.55)],and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Health knowledge,belief,environment and living with spouse were the influencing factors of health behaviors of stroke patients in Henan province.Health knowledge,belief,social support,environment,monthly income and TOAST were the influencing factors of stroke patients' health behaviors in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region(all P<0.05).Conclusions:There were significant differences in demographic and disease characteristics between stroke patients in the two places,and there were regional specificity in health behaviors.It is recommended to develop personalized and systematic nursing intervention strategies based on regional characteristics.
