Abstract:Objective:To explore the application effectiveness of assisted practice system based on artificial intelligence for donning and doffing protective clothing among nursing students. Methods:A total of 80 nursing students of the class of 2022 from School of Health and Nursing Management,Shanghai University of Medicine&Health Sciences were selected by convenience sampling method. The students were randomly divided into observation group and control group using random number table, with 40 students in each group. The patients in control group practiced donning and doffing protective clothing using traditional methods combined with paper-based learning materials. The patients in observation group practiced using the assisted practice system based on artificial intelligence. The operational scores and practice effectiveness of donning and doffing protective clothing were compared between the two groups. The system quality rating of the observation group was surveyed. Results:The operational score of donning and doffing protective clothing in the observation group was 95.56±3.11.The total practice effectiveness score in the observation group was 92.21±11.02.Both of them were higher than those in the control group(operational score was 89.88±5.57,and total practice effectiveness score was 84.79±13.38).There were statistically significant differences in terms of the scores(both P<0.05).The total system quality score of the observation group was 91.87±11.41.Conclusions:Using the assisted practice system based on artificial intelligence for donning and doffing protective clothing is beneficial for improving nursing students'mastery of protective clothing donning and doffing skills.
