Abstract:Objective:To explore the application effects of personalized nursing intervention for pediatric patients with pneumonia. Methods:A total of 96 pediatric patients with pneumonia admitting to our hospital spanned from January 2024 to January 2025 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into a control group and an observation group by coin toss, with 48 cases in each group. The patients in control group received routine nursing care, while the patients in observation group received personalized nursing intervention. The disappearance time of pneumonia symptoms, length of hospital stay, hospitalization costs, levels of inflammatory factors, pulmonary function, incidence of complications, and pain degree were compared between the two groups. Results:The disappearance times of symptoms such as fever, cough, pulmonary rales, and shortness of breath,as well as the length of hospital stay were all shorter in the observation group than those in the control group.Hospitalization costs were lower in the observation group. One day before discharge, levels of C-reactive protein and procalcitonin in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while forced vital capacity, peak expiratory flow, and forced expiratory volume in 1 second were higher than those in the control group. The total incidence of complications during hospitalization was lower in the observation group. The pain degree on one day before discharge was also lower in the observation group(all P<0.05).Conclusions:The implementation of personalized nursing intervention in pediatric patients with pneumonia was conducive to alleviating physical and psychological stress responses and facilitating a quicker recovery.
