Abstract:Objective:To translate the Nonide Scale into Chinese and to test its reliability and validity. Methods:After obtaining authorization from the original author, the scale was translated,back-translated,reviewed by the original author, and adapted cross-culturally following the Brislin classic translation model.Chinese version of the Nonide Scale was conducted by preliminary survey.A total of 336 children in Nanchang city,Jiangxi province were selected as the research subjects from August to October 2024 to test the reliability and validity of the scale. Results:The Chinese version of the Nonide Scale consisted of 9 items, accounting for 54.351%of the variance. The model showed good fit after modification. The item-level content validity index(I-CVI)ranged from 0.889 to 1.000.The average scale-level content validity index(S-CVI/Ave)was 0.951.The Cronbach's α coefficient was 0.891.The split-half reliability was 0.861.And the test-retest reliability was 0.859.Conclusions:The Chinese version of the Nonide Scale has good reliability and validity. It is suitable for assessing the knowledge and skill levels of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation in children aged 5 to 8.
