Abstract:Objective:To investigate the status quo and its influencing factors of frailty in patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis. Methods:A total of 190 patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis admitted to the department of gastroenterology of the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from June to September 2023 were selected. The general clinical data questionnaire,Subjective Global Assessment Scale(SGA),the Clinical Fraility Scale(CFS),and the Third Lumbar Skeletal Muscle Mass Index(L3-SMI)were used for the investigation. Results:Among the 190 patients,27 were frail and 163 were non-frail.Malnutrition,age,body mass index, grip strength, upper arm muscle circumference and sarcopenia were the influencing factors of frailty in patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis(P<0.05).Conclusions:There are many risk factors for frailty in patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis, and the nutritional status of patients is closely related to the occurrence of frailty.
