Abstract:Objective:To conduct an in-depth conceptual analysis of non-specific complaints(NSC)in emergency patients using Walker and Avant's classic concept analysis method. Methods:A systematic search was performed across databases including CNKI,Wanfang Data,CBM,VIP,PubMed,Web of Science,EMbase, and ProQuest for literature related to NSC in emergency patients.Walker and Avant's concept analysis approach was applied to examine the defining attributes, antecedents, and consequences of NSC.Results:NSC was characterized by five defining attributes:diagnostic uncertainty, subjectivity, complexity, high risk of misdiagnosis/omission,and potential severity.Antecedent factors included sociodemographic factors,disease-related factors, and medication-related factors.Additionally, emergency patients with NSC exhibited higher rates of hospitalization, revisit, misdiagnosis, and mortality. Conclusions:Current research on NSC in emergency patients remains in its early stages, with no standardized conceptual definition or specific triage tools established.Further investigation and exploration are warranted.
