Characteristics of allergens in patients with allergic diseases in Shanxi province

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the types of allergens in patients with allergic diseases in Shanxi province,and to propose nursing interventions and prevention strategies.Methods:A total of 1 816 patients with allergic diseases who visited the allergy department of Shanxi Bethune Hospital from July 2023 to June 2024 were selected as the research subjects.Immunoblotting was used to detect serum allergen-specific immunoglobulin E(IgE)antibodies.And the distribution characteristics of allergen positivity rates in different seasons,genders,and ages were analyzed.Results:Among 1 816 subjects,1 543 cases(84.97%)were positive for allergen-specific antibodies.Inhalation allergens were mainly mugwort,cat fur shavings,and dust mites.Food allergens were mainly chicken protein,milk,and shrimp.The positive rate of allergens in winter and autumn was higher than that in spring and summer.The positive rate of males was higher than that of females.The positivie rate of 18-30 years old was higher than that of other age groups(P<0.05).Conclusions:Allergens in Shanxi province show seasonal,gender and age differences,providing important guidance for nursing time.It emphasizes the key role of customized nursing strategies in identifying allergens,preventive measures and patient health education,with the aim of optimizing the nursing of allergic diseases and the prognosis of patients.
