Influence of continuous nursing and follow-up management on the compliance behavior and recurrence situation of patients with acute biliary pancreatitis

Abstract：Objective:To explore the influence of the nursing mode of continuous nursing and follow-up management(4CR)on the compliance behavior and recurrence rate of patients with acute biliary pancreatitis.Methods:A total of 168 patients with acute biliary pancreatitis admitting to the department of gastroenterology of Zhujiang Hospital,Southern Medical University from January 2022 to November 2023 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the 4CR mode group,with 84 patients in each group.The control group was intervened with continuous nursing,while the 4CR mode group was intervened with the 4CR mode.Before the intervention and 6 months after the intervention,the compliance behavior scale,Self-Rating Ability of Health-Promoting Practice Scale(SRAHP),Chinese version of Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile-Ⅱ(HPLP-IIC),and Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74(GQOL-74)were used to evaluate the compliance behaviors,health behaviors ability,level of health promoting lifestyle,and quality of life of the patients in the two groups respectively.And the recurrence rate of acute pancreatitis in the two groups was compared at 1,3,and 6 months after discharge.Results:During the follow-up observation process,2 patients dropped out.Eventually,there were 82 patients in the control group and 84 patients in the 4CR mode group.Six months after the intervention,the scores of various items of compliance behavior,SRAHP scores,HPLP-IIC scores,and the scores of various items of the GQOL-74 scale in the 4CR mode group were all higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).At 3 and 6 months after discharge,the recurrence rate of acute pancreatitis in the 4CR mode group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:The intervention of continuous nursing and follow-up management could help to improve the compliance behaviors and health promoting lifestyle of patients with acute biliary pancreatitis,and reduce the recurrence rate of acute pancreatitis.
