Construction of evaluation index system for care quality of elderly care institutions in minority areas of Western Yunnan

Abstract：Objective:To construct an evaluation index system for the care quality of elderly care institutions in minority areas of western Yunnan,and to provide a minimum data set for the evaluation index system of the care quality of elderly care institutions in these areas.Methods:The evaluation index system for the care quality of elderly care institutions in minority areas of western Yunnan was constructed through literature analysis,brainstorming,and the Delphi method.The objective weighting method was applied to determine the weights of the indicators.Results:The effective recovery rates of the two rounds of expert consultation were both 100%.The coefficients of expert authority(Cr)in the two rounds were 0.913 and 0.930 respectively.The expert coordination coefficients of the second round ranged from 0.086 to 0.182(all P<0.05).Finally,an evaluation index system for the care quality of elderly care institutions in minority areas of western Yunnan was formed,which included 3 first-level indicators,10 second-level indicators,and 33 third-level indicators.Conclusions:The constructed evaluation index system for the care quality of elderly care institutions in minority areas of western Yunnan is scientific and reliable.And it can provide a basis for quality evaluation and quality improvement of the care quality of elderly care institutions in minority areas of western Yunnan.
