Abstract:Objective:To explore the metabolic regulatory effect of the dietary therapy theory of family nurse on overweight/obese patients with type 2 diabetes, and to verify the multiple effects of this theory in terms of anti-inflammation,antioxidant stress and metabolic regulation. Methods:A single-arm intervention trial was conducted. From August to October 2024,64 overweight/obese patients with type 2 diabetes were selected through community recruitment as the research subjects, and an optimized intervention plan for dietary therapy by family nurses was implemented.A historical controlled study design based on propensity score matching was adopted, and finally 30 cases in the experimental group and 31 cases in the historical control group were matched. The body weight, body mass index, metabolic indicators, and dietary management scores of type 2 diabetes were compared between the two groups after 6 weeks of intervention. The changes in inflammation and oxidative stress indicators before and after the intervention in the test group were analyzed. Results:After 6 weeks of intervention, compared with the historical control group,BMI,fasting blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, insulin resistance index, fasting insulin, triglycerides, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, superoxide dismutase and the score of diet management for type 2 diabetes in the experimental group improved(P<0.05).Superoxide dismutase, malondialdehyde and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein were improved in the test group compared to before intervention(P<0.05).Conclusions:The optimized dietary therapy plan for family nurse is superior to the previous plans in terms of weight loss, blood sugar control, metabolic regulation and self-management of diet. This plan not only improves the clinical verification of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant stress of the family nurse dietary therapy theory in overweight/obese patients with type 2 diabetes, but also further confirms the scientificity and clinical effectiveness of the intervention mechanism of this theory.
