Abstract:Objective:To investigate the application effect of the dietary optimized program based on the family nurse dietary therapy theory in overweight/obesity patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease. And to further verify the validity of the family nurse dietary therapy theory. Methods:Employed a single-arm trial design with an external control, from August to November 2024,a total of 106 overweight/obesity patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease were recruited through the community, and the dietary optimized program of family nurses was implemented. The external control data were derived from the clinical data of overweight/obesity patients with metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease who received an unoptimized dietary program in the previous research of the team. The propensity score matching method was used to match the two groups at a ratio of 1∶2.A total of 60 cases were included in the intervention group and 30 cases in the control group. After 6 weeks of intervention, the relevant indicators of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results:After the intervention of the optimized program, tumor necrosis factor-α,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, and malondialdehyde decreased, compared with those before the intervention(P<0.05).Superoxide dismutase increased(P<0.05).The intervention group outperformed the historical control group in terms of fatty liver improvement, weight,BMI,fasting blood glucose,triglycerides,high-density lipoprotein,as well as satiety, post meal hunger and dietary satisfaction scores(P<0.05).Conclusions:The dietary optimized program of family nurses is more effective in improving fatty liver, reducing weight, regulating metabolism, and enhancing dietary satisfaction. It further validates the scientific validity of the family nurse dietary therapy theory from the aspects of anti-inflammation,antioxidation,and metabolic regulation.
