Abstract:Objective:To explore the latent class of disturbance of body image in breast cancer patients with different chemotherapy regimens during chemotherapy, and to analyze the differences in characteristics of different classes of patients. Methods:The patients with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy in a tertiary grade A tumor hospital in Shanghai were selected as the research objects from June to October 2020.The basic information questionnaire and body image scale were used to investigate the patients.Differences in evaluation results at different time points were compared by analysis of variance, and latent class was explored by latent class growth model.Results:Initially,253 patients were included, then 34 patients withdrew from the study due to various reasons, with loss to follow-up rate of 13.4%.Ultimately,219 patients were included.According to the chemotherapy scheme,219 patients were divided into breast cancer patients(101 cases)who were treated with anthracycline containing drugs and breast cancer patients(118 cases)who were not treated with anthracycline containing drugs. The body image score of breast cancer patients who were treated with anthracycline containing drugs showed upward trend first and then downward trend, while the body image score of breast cancer patients who were not treated with anthracycline containing drugs showed downward trend first and then upward trend. There were 3 latent class of breast cancer patients who were treated with anthracycline containing drugs, included 53 patients(52.5%)in the moderate disturbance of body image and change group,10 patients(9.9%)in the severe disturbance of body image and change group, and 38 patients(37.6%)in the mild disturbance of body image and continuous group. There were 4 latent class of breast cancer patients who were not treated with anthracycline containing drugs, included 25 patients(21.2%)in the severe disturbance of body image and change group,42 patients(35.6%)in the mild disturbance of body image and continuous group,2 patients(1.7%)in the extremely severe disturbance of body image and change group, and 49 patients(41.5%)in the moderate disturbance of body image and change group. Conclusions:There is population heterogeneity in disturbance of body image in breast cancer patients with different chemotherapy regimens during chemotherapy, and medical staff can provide targeted intervention for patients according to the latent class analysis of disturbance of body image.
