Abstract:Objective:To translate Basic Resuscitation Skills Self-Efficacy Scale(BRS-SES)and to test its reliability and validity. Methods:Follow the Brislin translation mode to sinicize BRS-SES into Chinese version.A total of 502 clinical nurses from a tertiary grade A hospital in Anhui province were selected by convenience sampling method for survey to evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of BRS-SES.Results:In exploratory factor analysis, three common factors with eigenvalues>1 were extracted, and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 65.50%.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model fitting indicators of the Chinese version of BRS-SES had all reached the fitness standard. The scale-content validity index of the Chinese version of BRS-SES was 0.972,the Cronbach's a coefficient was 0.939,and the retest reliability after 2 weeks was 0.874.Conclusions:The Chinese version of BRS-SES has good reliability and validity, and can be used to evaluate the self-efficacy of nursing in basic resuscitation skills.
