Abstract:Objective:To explore the classification and influencing factors of benefit finding in early stage of postoperative colorectal cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy,so as to provide basis for targeted intervention. Methods:Colorectal cancer patients admitted at the First Affiliated Hospital of Naval Medical University from January 2019 to January 2023 were selected as research subjects. The general information questionnaire,Benefit Finding Scale,The Revised Life Orientation,Perceived Social Support Scale and Distress Thermometer were used for investigation.Latent profile analysis was used to explore the latent class of benefit finding, and multinomial Logistic regression analysis was used to compare the characteristics of each latent class.Results:203 postoperative colorectal cancer patients who undergoing chemotherapy were finally enrolled, benefit finding was demonstrated in three different potential classes, named as"high benefit finding-family cohesion","medium benefit finding-behavioral change"and"low benefit finding-lack of social relations",which were 54 cases accounting for 26.6%,84 cases accounting for 41.4%,65 cases accounting for 32.0%,respectively.Compared with the type of"low benefit finding-lack of social relations",patients with higher scores of TLOT-R or PSSS were more likely to be classified as"high benefit finding-family cohesion"and"medium benefit finding-behavioral change"(OR=1.987,1.540,1.937,1.514,P<0.05);patients with lower scores of DT more likely to be classified as"high benefit finding-family cohesion"and"medium benefit finding-behavioral change"(OR=0.374,0.515,P<0.05);male patients more likely to be classified as"high benefit finding-family cohesion"(OR=2.770,P<0.05).Conclusion:There are three latent profiles of benefit finding in postoperative colorectal cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, which were"high benefit finding-family cohesion","medium benefit finding-behavioral change"and"low benefit finding-lack of social relations".Medical staff should implement targeted interventions based on their benefit finding characteristics,so as to improve their level of benefit finding.
