Abstract:Objective:To compare the anti-infection effect of central venous catheter using minocycline-rifampicin with common central venous catheter by systematic evaluation method. Methods:The randomized controlled trials of minocycline-rifampicin central venous catheter and normal catheter were systematically searched in the Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMBASE, CINAHL, China Biomedical Literature Database, CNKI, Wanfang Database, VIP Journal full text database and randomized controlled trial registration websites. The retrieval time was from the database establishment to October 2017.Two researchers independently performed literature retrieval, literature screening, data extraction and quality evaluation, and used RevMan 5.2 software to analyze the data. Results:A total of 8 references were included, all of them were randomized controlled trials.Meta-analysis showed that compared with common central venous catheters, central venous catheters with minocycline-rifampicin reduced the incidence of catheter-related bloodstream infections[RR=0.27, 95%CI (0.16, 0.44) , P<0.000 01]and bacterial colonization[RR=0.44, 95%CI (0.32, 0.60) , P<0.000 01].Conclusions:Minocycline-rifampicin central venous catheter could effectively reduce the incidence of catheter-related bloodstream infection and bacterial colonization.
