Application of vestibular function rehabilitation exercise in nursing of patients with vestibular dysfunction

Abstract:Objective:To probe into the effect of vestibular rehabilitation exercise in nursing of patients with vestibular dysfunction.Methods:A total of 120 patients with vestibular dysfunction admitted from May 2016 to May 2017 were randomly divided into two groups, 60 cases in each group.The patients in control group were given routine nursing, and the patients in study group were trained with vestibular function rehabilitation exercise on the basis of routine nursing.The dizziness disability scale mental (DHI) , elasticity scale (CD-RISC) , the self-perceived burden scale (SPBS) , satisfaction degree, therapeutic effect and the hospitalization time were compared between the two groups.Results:The scores of DHI, CD-RISC, SPBS and satisfaction were (16.38±5.85) , (79.16±9.25) , (22.14±5.01) , (91.6%) , respectively.The effective rate was 95.0% and the hospitalization time was (8.80±0.85) days.In the control group, the DHI score was (26.24±6.23) , the CD-RISC score was (66.92±8.76) , SPBS (24.99±2.37) , the satisfaction rate was 75.0%, the effective rate was 83.3%, The length of hospitalization was (11.25±1.82) days, there was statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05 or P<0.01) .Conclusions:Vestibular functional rehabilitation exercises were performed in patients with vestibular dysfunction.It is beneficial to alleviate the symptoms of vertigo and self-perceived burden, to improve the patients′psychological resilience, therapeutic effect, quality of life and satisfaction.
