Abstract:Objective:To investigate the gateball delay and its influencing factors in elderly patients with acute STEMI.Methods:The data of 125 elderly patients with acute STEMI who underwent emergency PCI in a Grade 3 A Hospital in Zhenjiang City from June2015 to December 2016 were reviewed, and the delay status of goalball time and related factors were analyzed.Results:DTB>90 min was found in 36 cases (28.8%).Univariate analysis showed that sex, history of diabetes, number of diseased vascular branches, admission time, hospital-first electrocardiogram time, first electrocardiograph determined PCI time, determining the time of informed consent and time starting cardiac catheterization room-balloon expansion were the factors influencing the delay of gateball time in elderly patients with acute STEMI (P<0.05).The results of Logistic regression analysis on 8 variables with statistical significance showed that the number of diseased vessels, the admission time the time from admission to the first ECG, and the time from PCI to informed consent were independent risk factors for DTB>90 min in elderly patients with acute STEMI.Conclusion:By analyzing the delayed factors of gateball time in elderly patients with STEMI, it could be used as a reference for improving hospital visiting procedure, shortening the gateball time and improving the prognosis of the patients.
