Abstract:To evaluate the rehabilitation effect of exercise on two kinds of different intensity of exercise on cardiovascular disease patients, and to provide evidences for evidence based medicine for further study of the exercise rehabilitation of cardiovascular disease patients. Methods:Randomized clinical trials(RCTs)that assessed the effectiveness of high intensity interval training and mod‐erate intensity continuous exercise on patients with cardiovascular diseases were selected in multiple electronic databases.RevMan 5.3.0 software was used to analyze the data after quality assessment and data extraction were made for eligible RCTs.Results:A total of 7 RCTs were included. The results of meta analysis supported the effectiveness of high intensity interval training on increasing maxi‐mum oxygen consumption in patients with cardiovascular diseases. While it was unclear that if high intensity interval training could improve the quality of life and it failed to support the effectiveness on reducing body mass index, blood pressure and triglyceride[MD=0.97,95%CI(0.13,1.81),P=0.02].Conclusions:The effects of two groups in decreasing blood lipid, body mass index and impro‐ving the quality of life were similar. However, the former could significantly increase the maximum oxygen consumption, and the anti‐hypertensive effect was significant.
