Investigation on monitoring index of death risk in inpatients with chronic non-communicable diseases
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the risk monitoring indicators of death in patients with chronic non-com-municable diseases so as to provide evidences for the development of critical patients with chronic disease evalu-ation criteria. Methods:A total of 556 patients with chronic non-communicable diseases who died in a third grade hospital in Shanghai from January to December 2015 were selected as the study subjects. The self-de-signed questionnaire was used to analyze the clinical data of patients in 24 hours before their death. Results:The age of death of patients with chronic non-communicable diseases was(72.47 ± 12.96)years old.The peak time of death was 08:00~12:00.Malignancy,cardiovascular diseases, cerebrovascular diseases and respiratory disea-ses were the main causes of death. There were statistically significant differences in the distribution of abnormal indexes of vital signs, albumin, platelets and D-dimers in patients with different diseases before death(P<0.05). The range of abnormal indicators of different diseases were at the edge of the critical value and vary in scope. Conclusions:Nursing staff should carry out nursing assessment aiming at the chronic diseases specialist early warning scope to improve the patient's adverse outcomes.
