Abstract:Objective:To system evaluate the clinical effect of virtual reality therapy on the operative pain in wound. Methods:A randomized controlled trial of virtual reality therapy for wound pain was searched by CNKI, Wanfang,Chinese biomedical literature databases,PubMed,evidence-based OVID database,Web of Science, Springer,Cochrane,Cochrane Database.A total of 2 researchers independently screened literatures and extracted data. Results:A total of 11 articles were included,9 grade A and 2 grade B.Meta analysis showed that the differ-ence between the experimental group(virtual reality intervention)and the control group(no virtual reality inter-vention)in reducing pain during dressing change, discomfort during dressing removal and shortening the total time of wound care operation was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:As a non pharmacological auxil-iary analgesic intervention, virtual reality therapy could reduce operative pain, reduce dressing change symptoms and save wound nursing time, but still need to design rigorous, large sample randomized controlled trials to fur-ther verify its efficacy.
