Abstract：The scientific calculation of nursing workload was the basis of human resource allocation,the nursing difficulty was closely related to nursing workload.This article reviewed the concept of the nursing difficulty of foreign patients and its assessment tools,in order to provide a reference for the construction of nursing difficulty evaluation system in China.
