Correlation analysis between life events and coping style of women encountered and risk of breast cancer
Abstract：Objective:To explore the correlation between life events and coping style of women encountered and risk of breast cancer.Methods:The general information questionnaire,life events scale and trait coping style questionnaire were used to investigate 49 cases of breast cancer (group BC),57 cases of benign breast diseases (group BBD) and 49 cases of non cancer patients (group NC) during the same period.Results:Compared with group BBD and group NC,the total score of life events stimulation,negative events stimulation and negative coping style in group BC were higher(F=24.383,P＜0.001;F=37.576,P＜0.001;F=7.405,P=0.010),while the score of positive coping style was lower(F=5.655,P=0.004).Logistic regression analysis showed that life events stimulation (OR=1.167),negative coping style (OR=1.338) and positive coping style (OR =1.077) were the related factors of breast cancer.Conclusion:Life events stimulation (especially negative life event stimulation) and negative coping style might be risk factors for breast cancer.
