Meta analysis of influence of moxibustion on postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction

Abstract:Objective:To carry out Meta-analysis of literatures on effect of moxibustion on postoperative gastrointestinal dysfunction were analyzed by Meta.Methods:A randomized controlled study on moxibustion promoting postoperative gastrointestinal function was retrieved from the database of CNKI,CBM,VIP,Wanfang,PubMed,Web of Science,EBSCO and host,The retrieval time was from the time of library formed to April 2016.After strict quality evaluation,RevMan5.3 software was used to analyze the literatures that meeted the requirement.Results:A total of 17 literatures were included;The results of Meta analysis showed that compared with the conventional nursing group,moxibustion group patients recovery time of bowel sound[MD=-12.82,95%CI(-16.50,-9.14),P<0.000 01],the first exhaust time[MD=15.65,95%CI(-22.60,-8.51) and defecation time[MD =-15.41,95% CI(-20.45,-1 0.37),P<0.000 01] were short,the postoperative recovery effective rate of gastrointestinal function was higher [OR=6.23,95%CI(1.71,22.73),P=0.006].Conclusions:Moxibustion could effectively promote the recovery of postoperative gastrointestinal function.
