Application of experiential teaching combined with psychological coaching technology in nursing psychology course

Abstract：Objective:To explore the application effect of experiential teaching combined with psychological coaching technology in the nursing psychology course.Methods:A total of 89 undergraduate nursing students were divided randomly into experimental group (n =45) and control group(n =44).The students in experimental group participated by themselves in experiential teaching under coaching technology.The students in control group participated in listening lectures or discussion in the experiential teaching.Results:After experimental teaching combined coaching technology,the scores of interest in learning,team cooperation ability,self-learning ability and innovative thinking ability were improved in all students,especially in the interest of learning.In addition,the independent learning ability of students in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05),and 92.5％ of the students were in favor of teaching reform.Conclusions:For the nursing psychological course,experiential teaching combined psychological coaching could improve the ability and quality of the students,especially the interest of learning.Participate by themselves in teaching under coaching could promote the cultivation of independent learning ability.
