Abstract：This article reviewed the research progress on the mechanism of Baduanjin Qigong on essential hypertensive patients from the aspects of endothelin-1,nitric oxide,serum hypersensitive C-reactive protein and glucose and lipid metabolism,and cardiopulmonary endurance.It pointed out that the clinical value of Baduanjin Qigong to hypertensive patients and the shortcomings of current research.
