Application of 5E teaching model in experimental teaching of Basic Nursing Science

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the effect of 5E teaching model in the experimental teaching of Basic Nursing ScienCe.Methods:A total of 4 teaching groups and 51 undergraduate students were extracted by convenience sampling method as the observation group,and were given 5E teaching mode to carry out operation skill teaching;Meanwhile 4 teaching group and 51 undergraduate students as the control group,were adopt the routine operation teaching method,the teaching effect was evaluated at the end of the semester.Results:After the intervention,the scores of 3 operation skills in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05);In observation group,the total score of clinical communication ability was(91.51±7.20),and self-regulated learning ability was(90.71±6.36),in control group,the total score of clinical communication ability was(86.22±7.72),and self-regulated learn ing ability was(81.71±4.95),there was statistical significant difference between the two groups(P＜0.01).Conclusions:Application of 5E teaching model in the experimental teaching of Basic Nursing Science could help students improve their skills,independent learning ability and clinical communication ability.
