Investigation on satisfaction degree of patients with hypertension to management service provided by community nurses

Abstract:Objective:To investigate satisfaction degree of patients with hypertension to management service provided by community nurses and provide empirical evidence for community nurses to continuously improve the management services of hypertension.Methods:Using convenience sampling method,19 community health service organizations were selected from 12 cities in Sichuan Province,and 2 279 patients with hypertension were investigated by community chronic management service satisfaction questionnaire.Results:The overall satisfaction score of the management service provided by community nurses was 3.91±0.68,The nursing service etiquette,nursing technology,collaborative services,health education and guidance,nursing intervention,community management dimension scores were 4.06±0.68 and 3.99±0.72,3.84±0.73 and 3.84±0.74 and 3.84±0.74 and 3.91 ± 0.71.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the patient's area,blood pressure standards,em ployment,hypertension complications,special out-patient,health records affected the patient's satisfaction degree of management service.Conclusions:Community nursing management services failed to meet the level of satisfaction among community hypertensive patients (4 points).It was manifested in nursing follow-up,health guidance and coordination services.Community nurses needed to further strengthen community care,training in hypertension expertise and skills.
