Study on status quo of positive psychological quality and its influencing factors of medical students

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the status quo of positive psychological quality and its influencing factors of medical students,and to provide practical basis for intervention of mental health education in Universities.Methods:A total of 1 179 medical students in a medical college in Anhui province were investigated with the main positive quality questionnaire resilience scale,Healthy Personality Orientation of mental health scale and Eysenck personality questionnaire China version by cluster sampling method.Results:The total score of positive psychological quality of medical students was(4.37±0.36),and the overall situation was good;The positive psychological quality of medical students was mainly influenced by grades,age,hobbies,physical health and participation activities.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that grade,physical health,age,total score of mental health,emotional regulation and challenge could explain 12.8％ of the positive psychological quality.Conclusions:The general level of positive psychological quality of medical students was better.Medical colleges should pay attention to the cultivation of the positive psychological quality of medical students,and then to improve the comprehensive quality of medical students.
