Application of scenario simulation-based deliberate practice in training of nurse-patient communication ability of nursing students
Abstract：Objective:To probe into the application effect of scenario simulation-based deliberate practice in cultivating the communication ability of nursing undergraduates,and then summed up a set of nursing students clinical communication skills training methods,so as to provide evidences for the nursing students' interpersonal communication education.Methods:A total of 132 freshmen in grade 2016 nursing undergraduates were randomly divided into test group and control group.In nurse-patient communication ability training,the patients in control group adopted the conventional teaching method,and the patients in test group adopted the scenario simulation-based deliberate practice based on the conventional teaching.Before and after the intervention,the nursing students' clinical communication ability and the deliberote practice emotional intelligence were measured by the nursing students' emotional intelligence scale(EIS).Results:After the first semester,the score of patients in test group was higher than that in control group(P＜0.01).Conclusions:Scenario simulation-based deliberate training could help improve nursing students' nurse communication skills and emotional intelligence.
