Abstract:Objective:To probe into the application effect of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with physical therapy rehabilitation for cervical spondylosis. Methods:A total of 100 patients with cervical spondylosis treated with acupuncture and moxibustion in our hospital from May 2014 to August 2016 were randomly divided into two groups. The patients in control group were treated with conventional physical therapy rehabilitation and nursing. The patients in observation group were treated with acupuncture and moxibustion combined with physical therapy. The clinical efficacy, symptom improvement, blood flow velocity of vertebrobasilar artery and quality of life were compared between both groups. Results:The total effective rate was 94.00% in observation group and 70.00% in control group. There was statistically significant difference between both groups(P<0.05).The score of neck pain after treatment(0.7±0.8) in observation group was lower than that in control group(1.9±0.5).ESCV score(24.1±4.6) was higher than that in control group(16.4±4.3),and the difference between both groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The mean blood flow velocity of left ventricle(LVA),right vertebral artery(RVA) and basilar artery(BA) in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. The scores of physical pain, physiological function, physiological functions, social function, mental health, energy, emotional function and overall health status in observation group were higher than those in control group. The difference between both groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Acupuncture and moxibustion combined with physical therapy rehabilitation treatment of cervical spondylosis with targeted care intervention could improve the blood circulation around the cervical spine, the release of muscle adhesions, eliminate inflammation, reduce pain and promote the recovery of cervical physiological function.
