Influence of continuity of care with traditional Chinese medicine characteristics on quality of life and satisfaction of stroke patients after discharge

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the influence of continuity of care with traditional Chinese medicine characteristics on quality of life and satisfaction of stroke patients after discharge.Methods:October 2014-December 2015 in the affiliated hospital of Chengdu university of TCM,department of neurology,152 cases of stroke patients were randomly divided into two groups with 76 cases in each group.The patients in control group were given routine discharge guidance after discharge and 3 months in a row once a week,telephone follow-up,on this basis,the observation group implemented traditional Chinese medicine continuatity of care,the Mos-36 Item Short From Health Survey(SF-36) and satisfaction questionnaire were used to evaluate the patients before and after the intervention.Results:In the observation group after the intervention,the physiological function,physiological functions,body pain,general health,vitality,social function,emotional function and mental health of quality of life and the patients satisfaction score were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:The continuity of care with traditional Chinese medicine characteristics could effectively improve the quality of life and satisfaction of stroke patients after discharge.
