Establishment and application study on Emergency Rapid Triage Assessment System
Abstract:Objective:To establish the emergency rapid triage assessment system, provide rapid, quantitative and reliable triage basis for triage nurses,so as to improve triage level and distribute reasonably emergency medical resources. Methods:According to Modified Early Warning Score(MEWS),combined with the actual situation, increased the blood oxygen saturation, age, hospitalization, pain 4 indicators were increased.A suitable Emergency Rapid Triage Assessment(ERTS) for third grade general hospital was developed.1 600 cases of emergency patients were randomly selected and analyzed by MEWS score,ERTS score and prognosis,Pearson correlation test was applied for between MEWS score and the ERTS score to predict its value in the disease classification. Results:The MEWS score ERTS score of 1 600 emergency patients was positively correlated with(r=0.731,P<0.001),and the specificity and specificity of the ERTS score were better than those of the MEWS score. The area under the ROC curve of the ERTS score and MEWS score was 0.926 and 0.841 respectively, and the two systems were significant for the stratification of the emergency patients. Conclusions:The ERTS score improved specificity and sensitivity of MEWS,it had guided significance in the disease classification of emergency patients, which had important value in the prognosis of emergency patients,to provide a basis for the establishment of a unified, scientific triage standard in China.
