Abstract:Objective:To investigate the status quo of self-perceived burden and its influencing factors in hypertension patients complicated with heart failure during hospitalization. Methods:A Self-Perceived Burden(SPB) was used to investigate 276 hypertension patients complicated with heart failure in our hospital. Results:The SPB score was(33.05±5.06) in hospitalized hypertension patients with heart failure and was at a moderate burden level. There were the highest score in "high cost worrying treatment" and "worrying that caregivers were too tired"(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in SPB score among patients with different categories of medical insurance different Barthel indexes, the grades of heart function, the classifications of hypertension, the presence or absence of complications, whether the family income could support the medical expenses or not and the physical condition of the caregivers.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that family factors could support medical expenses, health insurance,Barthel index and physical condition of caregivers were the influencing factors of self-perceived burden during hospitalization of hypertension patients with heart failure(P<0.05).Conclusions:Self-perception of hypertension and heart failure patients during hospitalization was obvious.Family income, health insurance,Barthel index and caregiver physical condition were the main reasons for the burden of patients during hospitalization.
