Abstract:Objective:To probe into the influence of comprehensive rehabilitation nursing training and continuous nursing care on the quality of life and ability of daily living (ADL) in patients with ischemic stroke. Methods:A total of 96 cases of ischemic stroke patients in our hospital were collected as the research objects from June 2015 to January 2016 by the randomized controlled trial (RCT).They were randomly divided into intervention group and control group,48 cases in each. The routine discharge education was carried out for patients in intervention group, and they received the comprehensive rehabilitation nursing training at the same time. The patients and their caregivers in control group received the routine discharge education before discharging, and the patients were followed up regularly after discharge. The quality of life (QOL) and ability of daily living were assessed by stroke specific quality of life scale (SS-QOL) and Barthel index 3 d before discharge and 3 months after discharge.Results:3 days before discharge, there was no statistically significant difference in SS-QOL score and Barthel score of patients between both groups.3 months after intervention, the SS-QOL score (155.02±16.85) of patients in intervention group was higher than that before the intervention (123.46±13.23) and that in control group after the intervention (125.71±20.17).Compared with the control group after the intervention,in addition to 3 dimensions including thinking work, vision and production capacity, other dimensions scores were statistically significant(P<0.01),the Barthel score of intervention group patients (62.71±6.76) was higher than that before the intervention (48.65±5.03) and that of patients in control group after the intervention (52.60±4.61).Conclusion:Comprehensive rehabilitation nursing training combined with continuity of care could improve the quality of life of patients with ischemic stroke.
