Applied Delphi method to develop Nurse Organizational Silence Assessment Questionnaire

Abstract：Objective:To develop a questionnaire survey of nurse organizational silence.Methods:According to the theory of organizational silence,the dimensions and entries of nurses' organizational silence assessment questionnaire were preliminarily prepared by referring to the literature.A total of 30 nursing experts conducted two rounds consultation by using Delphi method.Results:After two rounds of experts consultation,the effective recoveries of the questionnaire were 93.75% and 100.00%,respectively,the authoritative coefficient was 0.85,and the Kendall coefficient was statistically significant (P<0.05).The nurse's organizational silence questionnaire was preliminarily determined with 4 dimensions and 22 entries.Conclusions:The questionnaire of nurses' organizational silence assessment included 4 dimensions: negative silence,defensive silence,pro-social silence,and ignorance silence and 22 entries,with good reliability and scientificity,which could be used as evaluation tools for nurses' organizationel silence.
