Correlation analysis of job satisfaction and turnover intention among nursing staff in pension ageney in Nantong
Abstract:Objective:To probe into the job satisfaction and turnover intention status among nursing staff in pension agency in Nantong and analyze its relevance.Methods: In May 2016,the average data,job satisfaction and turnover intention of 199 nurses staff in 8 old-age care institution in Nantong were investigated and correlation analyzed by using convenient cluster sampling method.Results:27.64% of the nurses were satisfied with their work income,77.89% of the nurses were satisfied with the work environment,78.39% of the nurses were satisfied with their interpersonal relationship,43.22% of the nurses were satisfied with their working hours and 57.29% of the nurses were satisfied with their job training.Higher and very high turnover intention accounted for 38.69%.The total score of turnover intention was 2.00(1.33,2.50),the score of possibility of quitting the job was 2.00(2.00,5.00),the score of motivation for finding other jobs was 2.00(2.00,4.00),the score of possibitity of getting an outside job was 6.00(4.00,6.00).The degree of satisfaction of job income,job environment,interpersonal relationship,working hours and job training were negatively related to their turnover intention(P<0.01).Conclusion:According to the related factors of turnover intention of nursing staff in pension agency in Nantong,it could reduce the turnover intention and ensure the sustained and stable development of the nursing staff in pension agency in Nantong by improving the environment,improving the system,increasing the gold content and attractiveness of the post,strengthening public opinion guidance,attracting new generation of staff induction,play the advantages of young elder people,paying attention to training and other measures.
