Analysis and thinking of follow-up results of 22 ill children after tracheotomy
Abstract：Objective:To follow up 22 ill children with tracheotomy and know about quality of life of ill children after tracheotomy.Methods:A total of 22 patients with tracheotomy and their families were followed up for 1 year by using general information registration form,children's quality of life common core scale and children's diary of tracheotomy to understand the disease condition and quality of life of children with tracheotomy after discharge.Results:22 ill children with tracheotomy were aged 1~18 years old,6 patients discharged with household ventilator,10 patients discharged with tube and 6 patients discharged from plugging.After 1 year of follow-up,6 patients died;the number of re-admission was 3.18±2.50 cases.All children had infection,and the score of quality of life for children with tracheotomy was lower.Conclusions:The follow-up system of tracheotomy children should be improved gradually,and actively carry out the family training program for children with tracheotomy before leaving hospital to improve the quality of life of children.
