Study on reliability and validity of ability evaluation questionnaire for clinical teachers of master of nursing specialist postgraduates
Abstract：Objective:To develop an ability evaluation questionnaire for clinical teachers of the master of nursing specialist (MNS) postgraduates,and to test the reliability and validity.Methods: The questionnaire was prepared by the Delphi expert consultation method.A total of 302 clinical training teachers of MNS postgraduates from Hengyang,Changsha,Guangzhou,Shenzhen and Tianjin were randomly selected for questionnaire survey.The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were tested.Results:The MNS Postgraduate Teacher's Ability Assessment Questionnaire consisted of 5 first-level indicators,9 second-level indicators,and 51 third-level indicators.The total Cronbach's α coefficient was 0.96,the content validity index (CVI) was 0.93,with a good discriminability of each factor.Through factor analysis,a common factor was chosen from the five dimensions.The interpretation of the variance was over 50%,and the dimension factor load mean ≥ 0.70.Conclusion:The MNS Postgraduate Teacher's Ability Assessment Questionnaire had a good reliability and validity,and it could be used as a comprehensive ability self-evaluation or evaluation tool for clinical teachers of MNS postgraduates.
