Application of fast track surgery in perioperative nursing care of patients with radical cystectomy for bladder cancer

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the application of fast track surgery in perioperative nursing care of patients with radical cystectomy for bladder cancer.Methods:A total of 31 patients who underwent radical cystectomy for bladder cancer were randomly divided into two groups:fast recovery group and control group.The fast re-covery group was given perioperative nursing measures,while the control group was given routine nursing measures.Then compared the two groups of patients with postoperative anal first exhaust time,first defecation time,postoperative hospitalization time,postoperative ileus and abdominal distension and other complications and readmission rate 30 d.Results:The first exhaust time,and postoperative hospital time of the fast recovery group were 1.77 d±0.71 d,12.00 d±3.77 d.Patients in the control group,first exhaust time,postoperative hospitalization time were 2.67 d±1.12 d,18.00 d±9.80 d,the difference between the two groups was statisti-cally significant (P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting was 0% in the fast recovery group,and the incidence rate of the control group was 26%,the difference between the two groups was statisti-cally significant (P<0.05).Conclusions:The application of fast track surgery in prerioperative nursing care of patients with radical cystectomy for bladder cancer could promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in pa-tients with bladder cancer,shorten the hospitalization time,and do not increase the incidence of intestinal ob-struction and other complications.
