Application of key monitoring indicators of nursing quality in continuous quality improvement

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the application effect of key monitoring indicators of quality of care in contin-uous improvement of quality.Method:Under the guidance of the three-dimensional theory of medical quality, the contents and threshold of 9 key monitoring indicators were established by reviewing the literature and expert consultation method.Then to compare the ,the key management index was used to evaluate the nursing quali-ty.Then to compare the key indicators of the inspection results,patient satisfaction and the incidence of adverse events.Results:In 2014,the incidence of pressure sores was 0.160%,the incidence of falls was 0.029 ‰,the in-cidence of falling bed was 0.035 ‰,the qualified rate was 87.14%,the qualified rate of basic nursing was 90.74%,the qualified rate of critically ill patients was 95.97%,the awareness rate of health education was 88.63%,hand health rate was 93.59%,first aid items intact rate was 96.71%,patient satisfaction rate was 94.4%,the inci-dence of adverse events was 0.937%.The incidence of pressure ulcers in 2015 was 0.088%,the incidence of falls was 0.007 ‰,falling bed incidence was 0.007‰,the qualified rate of medical care was 92.11%,the qualified rate of basic nursing was 99.40%,the qualified rate of critical patients was 99.06%,the awareness rate of health education was 95.10%,the hand health rate was 97.50%,the first aid items intact rate was 99.22%,the patient satisfaction rate was 96.6%,the incidence of adrerse events was 0.348%.There were statistially significant differences in the indexes between 2015 and 2014 (P<0.05).Conclusions:The use of nursing quality monito-ring indicators for dynamic quality monitoring of nursing was helpful to promote the continuous improvement of the quality of nursing.
