Bibliometric analysis of bereavement study in Web of Science from 2006 to 2015

Abstract:Objective:To analyze the Web of Science database included bereavement related literature of the 2006—2015.Methods:The Web of Science database was retrieved by subject retrieval method.The distribution of re-search types,distribution of topics,journals,publishing institutions and so on were analyzed.Results:A total of 4002 mourning articles were retrieved,and the number of documents showed a trend of increasing year by year.The field of study focused on psychology (1403)and psychiatry (705),6 from the United States of the 10 journals. The most popular magazine was "Death Studies"(296).American research institutions published the largest number of literature;Bereavement research at home and abroad formed a research team.Nearly 10 years the highest rate of 10 literatures with the highest cited rate were on the diagnosis of mental disorders,related re-search and so on.Conclusions:Researchers'emphasis on mourning for the mourning people was increasing,and the construction of the theoretical model of mourning and the provision of coping strategies for the bereavement were carried out.Qualitative research was the direction of future research.
