Correlation research on self-transcendence and innovation ability of ICU specialist nurses
Abstract：Objective:To know about the status quo of the innovation ability and self-transcendence of ICU spe-cialist nurses and probe into the correlation between them.Methods:A total of 198 nurses were investigated who had obtained the qualification certificate of ICU above the provincial level by using self-transcendence scale and the nurse innovative behavior scale.Results:The scores of self-transcendence and innovation ability of ICU spe-cialist nurses were 38.22±8.54 and 34.95±6.84.Position,monthly income,and self-transcendence affected the innovation ability of ICU specialist nurses;self-transcendence was positively related to all dimensions of in-novation ability.Conclusion:The higher self-transcendence level of ICU specialist nurses,the higher its innova-tion ability was.Nursing management should improve the consciousness and level of self-transcendence of ICU nurses,and then promote the improvement of innovation ability.
