Reliability and validity of Chinese version of Infertility-Related Stress Scale and its applicability
Abstract：Objective:To assess the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of Infertility-Related Stress Scale(IRSS)in patients treated with assisted reproductive technology for the first time.Methods:Translate Eng-lish version of IRSS into Chinese.A total of 200 patients has enrolled IRSS's content validity,calibration validi-ty,construct validity,and content consistency assessment scale.The applicability of the scale was tested.Re-sults:The content validity(CVI)of the Chinese version IRSS was 0.8-1.0,with an average of 0.94.The corre-lation coefficients of calibration were 0.29-0.55(P <0.05).Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the mod-el fitting was good.The common factors extracted by exploratory factor analysis can explain 59.78% of the to-tal variance.The internal consistency coefficient of the scale was 0.90,and the personal dimension and the social dimension coefficient of the scale were 0.89 and 0.87 respectively.The retest reliability after one week was 0.87, and the personal dimension and the social dimension coefficient of the scale were 0.84 and 0.86 respectively. The pressure of infertility on women was higher than that of men,especially on individual dimensions.Conclu-sion:Chinese version IRSS has a good measurement performance,which can be used for clinical evaluation of in-fertility patients'pressure.
