Reliability and validity test of Chinese version of Nursing Information System Using Behavior Scale for nurses

Abstract：Objective:To verify the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of Information System Use Be-havior Scale for nurses.Methods:A total of 680 registered nurses from 7 third grade A hospitals in Chengdu were enrolled by convenience sampling method,and 617 valid questionnaires were obtained.Data were analyzed to evaluate the structure validity,internal consistency and split-half coefficient of the scale.Results:There were two dimensions of the Information System Use Behavior Scale for nurses:expanding use behaviors and explora-tory use behaviors.Two main factors'cumulative variance contribution rate was 83.431%,the total factor load of the seven items ranged from 0.622 to 0.908(P <0.05),the Cronbach's αcoefficient of the scale was 0.918, split-half coefficient was 0.798,the comparative fit index was 0.918,the normed fit index was 0.915.Conclu-sions:The Chinese version of Information System Use Behavior Scale for nurses has a good reliability and validi-ty,and it has adaptability in the nursing field under the Chinese background.
