Status quo of college students’willingness,knowledge and courage to succor the fallen
Abstract：Objective:To investigate the status quo of college students’willingness,knowledge and courage to succor the fallen.Methods:A self designed questionnaire was used to investigate 700 college students in Tianjin city.Results:The median scores of willingness,knowledge and courage of these college students were 29.0,7.0 and 1 1 .0 respectively.The courage and knowledge scores of female college students were higher than that of male students(P<0.05).The willingness score of sophomore students was higher than that of other grades(P<0.05).The knowledge score of fourth grade college students was significantly higher than that of freshman and third grade students(P<0.05).The willingness,knowledge scores of medical related professional students were all higher than those of non medical related professional students(P<0.05).Conclusions:The college students’willingness and courage to succor the fallen are generally high or,however,the knowledge and skills should be improved.
