Hospice care attitude of nursing students in Higher Vocational Colleges and its influencing factors
Abstract:Objective:To probe into the hospice care attitude of nursing students in Higher Vocational colleges and related influencing factors.Methods:A total of 105 nursing students were selected from nursing profession grade 2014 in our school by using cluster random sampling.They were surveyed by the humanistic care quality scale,attitudes towards death scale,and nursing professional hospice care attitude scale.Results:The personal worries and professional anxiety scores of hospice care attitude of nursing students in higher vocational colleges were 54.37±3.90,73.07±3.89.Fear of death was positively correlated with all dimensions of hospice care(P<0.05).The knowledge of nursing humanistic care was positively correlated with professional care(P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that caring knowledge and the fear of death were the main factors in-fluencing the nursing students attitude of hospice care.Conclusion:The level of hospice care of nursing students in higher vocational colleges was higher.Nursing humanistic care knowledge and fear of death affected the atti-tude of professional hospice care.
