Reliability and validity test of 1 0 item Connor Davidson Resilience Scale in parents group of children with cancer

Abstract：Objective:To translate the 10 item Connor Davidson Resilience Scale(CD RISC 10),and carry out the reliability and validity test and determine the cut off value.Methods:All entries in CD RISC 10 scale were determined by identification coefficient,so as to remove the entries with not strong discernment,using the critical ratio value (CR)and popular level(PL),were used for measurement the Discrimination Index(D) was used to measure the inter project discrimination.CD RISC 10 scale (dinese vesion)was detected on their structural validity.A total of 303 cases of parents of children with cancer were randomly selected and divided in-to exploratory factor analysis group (group EFA)148 and confirmatory factor analysis group (CFA group) 1 5 5 ,they received the factor analysis.The Kessler symptom score scale and medical coping scale were used to detect the convergent validity,and to determine the cut off value of the psychological resilience of parents of children with cancer.Results:The revised CD RISC 10 scale(Chinese version)still retained 10 entries.In EFA group,exploratory factor analysis extracted a total of 2 factors,respectively adaptability and resilience,the cumulative variance interpretation was 61.859%.Total Cronbach’s alpha of CD RISC 10 was 0.873,split half reliability was 0.786,the test retest reliability of all dimensions ranged from 0.844 to 0.932.The cut off value of the psychological resilience of parents of children with cancer was 25.5.Conclusion:The revised CD RISC 10 scale (Chinese version)had good reliability and validity,and was easy to use.It was suitable for clini-cal departments as a primary screening tool for parents of children with high risk of cancer.
