Influence of dynamic communication skill training on mental symptoms and self esteem of schizophrenia patients

Abstract：objective:To probe into the influence of dynamic communication skill training on mental state and self esteem of schizophrenic patients.Methods:A total of 90 cases of schizophrenia patients admitted to our hospital from February 2013 to December 2014 were randomly divided into two groups.Two groups of patients were giv-en antipsychotic treatment.The control group patients were given basic care and the research group patients re-ceived the dynamic communication skills training intervention and basic care.Then the positive and negative symptom scale(PANSS)score and self esteem scale(SES)score were compared between two groups of schizo-phrenia patients before intervention,1 months after the intervention,3 months after the intervention and 6 months after the intervention.Results:At 3 months and 6 months after the intervention,there were statistioally significant differences in the total score of PANSS between both groups(P <0.05).6 months after the interven-tion,there were statistically significant differences in the negative symptoms of schizophrenia patients between both groups(P <0.05).3 months and 6 months after the intervention,there were significant differences between both groups(P <0.05).Before the intervention,the SES score of the patients in control group was significantly lower than that in research group,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The SES score of the research group was significantly higher than that in control group,the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).The patients in research group were better than those in control group,and the difference was sta-tistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of drug treatment,the use of dynamic communication skills training could significantly improve the mental symptoms and low self esteem of schizophrenia patients.
